A woman in Migori County is being investigated by police on claims of burning her children's hands after accusing them of stealing ksh 20.
Suna Oruba Chief Charles Ouma stated that the three children are aged six, seven, and nine years old. Adding that the incident was reported by the school where the three students go in Suna West Sub County.
The administrator stated that teachers raised the alarm after observing the children's injuries. The area chief reported that their mother claimed the three had taken money from their home.
The three siblings were transported to the hospital for treatment. Chief Ouma stated that the incident had been reported to the Department of Children.

After their investigations are complete, Robert Ouko, Suna West's children officer, said they will take legal action against the mother.
