Since she relocated to the US, Edday Nderitu has been updating her fans on her progress together with her kids. Recently, Edday Nderitu made a post that stated, "Don’t let the mockeries of others break you. Remember Hannah’s story, where Penina’s mockery was rendered irrelevant when God blessed Hannah with a son. God can rewrite your story too, stay grateful, and hopeful and watch as your enemies’ stories become insignificant in the face of your blessing.
Edday Nderitu was initially married to Mugithi singer Samidoh, and together they have three children. All three children have since moved to the US with their mother.
Edday has firmly denied the circulating rumors suggesting she maintains contact with her ex-husband. She clarified that she is now in a polygamous marriage. In a detailed Facebook post, Edday took the opportunity to address and clarify the situation surrounding her relationship with Samidoh.

Edday posted this..."Let me clarify few things that were shared online and not accurate, i am not in any polygamous marriage as stated i left the husband for whoever needed him more. I made a decision to remove myself and my kids from that toxic environment especially my teen daughter who unfortunately us the direct recipient of unbelievable behaviour displayed. I have managed to sustain my kids needs so far with no help and I'm not regretting any bit of it. I'm not in any communication as earlier stated, i only need peace, in this new season of my life I don't want drama. I hope in the next series my name will be left out.Nothing but prayers."
