She made the move after facing challenges in her marriage with Samidoh, especially when he began a relationship with nominated senator Karen Nyamu. Samidoh and Karen Nyamu have since had two children together. Unable to bear the betrayal, Edday made the decision to relocate to the USA. It has been a couple of months since she moved, and during her initial days in the USA, she was hosted by Samidoh's cousin, Bernice Saroni.
