Celebrated Tanzanian bongo artist Diamond Platinumz has publicly declared that he is a single man and should not be associated with any woman despite long-running rumors that he was dating songbird Zuchu.
The Wasafi musician posted a story on his Instagram page to announce that he is single and that no one should associate him with any woman.
"From today ningependa kuwatangazia rasmi kuwa I'm single, sidate wala sina mahusiano na mwanamke yeyote, kwa hivyo nisiwekwe na mwanamke yeyote kama mwanamke wangu" he posted
Diamond added that if he starts dating someone, then he will announce it to the media as he has always done.

The bongo artist deleted the story barely an hour later. The singer has been associated with Zuchu for the longest time, and they have been cozy on several occasions.
This statement comes just a few months after the singer celebrated Zuchus birthday with her, he went out of his way to surprise her with a special birthday celebration. Despite his hectic schedule, the singer dedicated time to commemorate Zuchu's 30th birthday on November 22, 2023.
The soothing tunes of Jazz music greeted the pair as they ascended a staircase leading to a charming dinner set up for the occasion. Zuchu looked stunning for the celebration, adorned in an elegant grey dress that complemented her meticulously styled hair, fashioned into a chic bun.
Romance permeated the air as Diamond presented Zuchu with a bouquet of flowers, adding an extra touch of love to the memorable occasion.
"Ohh, Thank you, this is good thank you habibi," she stated overcome by emotions.
At some point, the lady of the moment was overcome by emotions and shed tears as Diamond watched her wipe away the tears.
