Actress and radio presenter Azziad Nasenya recently experienced a concerning health issue, revealing images of her severely swollen lip caused by a severe flu.

Sharing her journey on Instagram, Azziad documented how quickly the swelling progressed and the medical consultations that followed. She explained that she had contracted an especially aggressive flu strain that was circulating at the time.

Initially, she observed a minor swelling on her lip, which she described as "very small, very cutesy, very demure."

"Look at my lip. Is there medicine for this? If there is medicine for this, I am going to get it now. Had a really really bad flu. Caught the bug that has been going round. This is how it started. Very small, very cutesy, very demure until..." she began.

However, the swelling worsened rapidly, prompting her to seek medical advice.

Azziad first visited a local pharmacy, where she was assured that the swelling would subside within an hour after taking the prescribed medication.

Despite following the instructions, the swelling persisted and grew more severe, leading to increased discomfort and concern.

As her condition deteriorated, she sought hospital treatment. Even after receiving multiple doses of medication, the swelling remained, causing her significant distress.

"And then it got to this like it was swelling pretty fast. I have never ever encountered this. By the time I was going to bed, this was the condition. Like I had gone to the pharmacy. Got medicine. I was told it was gonna go down in like an hour. But that didn't happen."

She humorously remarked on the challenge of drinking hot tea with her swollen and tender lip, highlighting the practical difficulties she faced during this health scare.

Azziad Nasenya took to her official TikTok account to share a video of her swollen lips, which appeared significantly larger than usual, visibly affecting her well-being.

She explained that an allergic reaction caused the swelling and that she had to seek hospital treatment after it failed to subside on its own.

A similar incident recently happened to Peter Salasya, who received treatment and fully recovered within 24 hours. Wishing Azziad a quick recovery—hoping she feels better soon!
