Fans of both Marya Okoth and comedian YY get a few goals from them.
The two discussed marriage and their relationship in an episode of her YouTube channel's "Man of the House" series.
Mary reveals that YY postponed a sizable birthday celebration after she complained to him a few hours before her actual birthday.
He was annoyed by her complaining, so he postponed the Coast vacation to try and teach her a lesson.

At this point, Marya said that YY had reportedly planned a birthday getaway but had later cancelled it.
YY concurred and said his choice was motivated by her unruly behaviour.
"I phoned Acacia after making a payment and asked if I could cancel the reservation. They warned me that I would be fined 20% of the amount.
They were permitted to cancel by YY. I informed her when I had to cancel so that she and others with similar tendencies would learn a lesson.
YY then took a little cash to celebrate her birthday. "Go and preach to the world that people should not be behaving like this."
According to Marya, this was also cruel. She had said that his actions were childish. The comedian ordered the cake and planned for the kids to sing for her.
She yelled at him, "Hio kitu ulifanya usiku ilikuwa utoto," so he replied that she would celebrate her birthday with the other children.
