Gospel Musician Kevin Bahati has announced walking his wife, Diana Marua, down the aisle on 12th December 2023.
The singer announced on his Instagram hours after he proposed to his wife for the second time; he went live on Diana Marua’s channel to surprise her.
"She said yes, and I officially announce that 12th December is our wedding day," Bahati.
The father of five also went on his knees and asked her to marry him for the second time to an emotional Diana.
Telling her that he wants to marry her at a real wedding this year.
"This year, I want to marry you in a real wedding, I want us to renew our vows," Bahati said
"Will you marry me Diana?" the hitmaker asked.
"Yes, yes, yes, " Diana replied with eyes full of tears.
The proposal came shortly after Diana went on a bitter rant a few days ago, saying that her husband (Bahati) has never surprised her this year.
He revealed that he knew Diana would not wish him anything on Father's Day because he had not been gifting her how he used to.
The much-publicized live session aired at exactly 3:00 pm, with Bahati explaining how he would shower his sleeping wife with gifts.
Bahati also revealed that he intended to celebrate Diana on Father's Day because she has done much for their family, especially when he announced he was vying for a parliamentary seat.
" When I announced that I was vying, that is when she told me she was expecting. She stood in the gap as a father, she took care of everything. That is why I thought I should celebrate her before she thought of celebrating me," he said.
Among the gifts bought by Bahati was an iPhone 14 Pro Max as the two lovebirds enjoyed a date by a small lake.
