Award Winning TV personality Serfine Achieng Ouma replaces former Citizen Achor and show host Willis Raburu. Serfine was unveiled shortly after Willis Raburu's departure from Citizen TV.  She will take over Raburu's hosting duties on the morning cooking show. 




It is widely known that the versatile media personality, Willis Raburu, has bid farewell to the Royal Media Services-owned station, where he had been an integral part for a 13-year tenure.


Having initially started as an intern, Raburu made a significant impact during his time at the station, both as a TV presenter and a radio personality. However, in early June of this year, he made the decision to resign from his position. He expressed gratitude towards the management of RMS for facilitating a smooth transition during this pivotal phase of his career.



Raburu's departure marks the end of an era, leaving behind a legacy of professionalism, charisma, and talent. Throughout his time at the station, he captivated audiences with his engaging presence and ability to connect with viewers and listeners alike.
As a TV presenter, Raburu effortlessly brought life to various shows, showcasing his versatility and adaptability across different formats. His vibrant energy and captivating delivery made him a beloved figure on-screen, leaving a lasting impression on viewers.

"I have made the decision to leave the Royal Media Services, and it's been a tough decision but they have been so gracious to me from the time I tendered in my resignation...it has been an amazing transition and they have shown me so much grace," Willis Raburu said.

In his farewell message, the father of two further said that he would now rest and complete his Master's Degree.
Willis Raburu, therefore, left RMS, having worked in different capacities over the years. He was a presenter at Citizen TV, hosting the '10 over 10' show, and he also hosted a sports show dubbed 'Sporty Monday'.



Aside from that, Willis Raburu also hosted a show touching on matters of relationships on Tuesday morning, and he had co-hosts CJ Ratemo and Q-tee.
He also hosted a cooking show that used to air on Thursday mornings, where he used to invite several chefs. Serfine Achieng Ouma will now host the relationship show on Tuesday mornings and a cooking show on Thursday mornings, all that Willis hosted. Serfine Achieng Ouma joined Citizen TV in 2022, and this was after she wowed many with how she moderated the Nairobi Gubernatorial debate of 2022.
