During an interview with Mungai Eve, Oga Obinna's ex-girlfriend, Sherlyn Anyango, revealed the amount of money she made while at Club Covid. Sherlyn revealed she had initially refused to take the money, saying she was just having fun, but her friend convinced her to take the money. "The first video I made was taken innocently. I used to dance in school, and I even had a nickname associated with my dancing skills. A friend informed me about Club Covid, and that's how I got involved. Initially, I wasn't interested in making money," said Sherlyn.

"My friend told me their no need of not taking the money," she added. Mungai Eve asked Sherlyn if she really earned the rumoured 30 Million, and this is what she said: "A night I would get Ksh. 300 if it's low and 1M if it's high. I made more than 30 million," Sherlyn confirmed.

Sherlyn added that the money she made in 2020 confused her since she did not know how to manage it. "I had never seen such a substantial amount of money. I would treat my friends and drink every day. However, later on, I realized that they were merely using me," said Sherlyn.

During the interview, Sherlyn disclosed that she took measures to protect her privacy by blocking family members from knowing her residential address. , "I blocked all my family members, so they wouldn't know where I lived. I surrounded myself with friends, and we would spend our time drinking. But now, I don't have any friends. I drank every day for a year, unknowingly adopting a destructive lifestyle. It was only when I moved to the US that I began to change. I met a gym trainer who encouraged me to transform my life. I was also dissatisfied with the path I was on; nothing I did brought me fulfillment."

In her recent revelation, Sherlyn openly discussed her professional rates as a video vixen."My rate for being a video vixen is 200,000 Kenyan Shillings per show. The payment depends on the duration and the artist involved. Unfortunately, most artists struggle to promote their music, which is why vixens in Kenya aren't paid as they should be." Reflecting on her past choices, Sherlyn expressed regret, stating, "I received opportunities, yes, but I regret everything I put out there. It's challenging to rebuild your image later on."

Sherlyn made a decision to return to Kenya in order to take a break and be closer to her family. Regarding speculations about her deportation, she clarified that she was not deported, "Kenya is my home. Can't someone come and visit?"

While answering if she would like to get back with Obinna, Sherlyne said Obinna does not meet her goals at the moment.
