Samidoh Muchoki, a musician for the Mugithi tribe, has admitted that the pricey liquor bottle his baby mother Karen Nyamu gave him for Father's Day was a fake.

When a fan inquired if he had already consumed the Ksh 420K booze he had gotten, Samidoh replied that it was still in the refrigerator.

He said that the gift was a fake and that the video was created to gain popularity on social media. He continued that people shouldn't take everything they see on social media too seriously.

I don't use social media, hizo. Sana, you're being serious. Naeza rogwa bure.

A video by American-born Kenyan entrepreneur Sue Gacambi claimed that Karen Nyamu was promoting the booze store and had not purchased the alcohol.

According to her, Karen does not have the money to spend so much on booze.

On Father's Day, the prospective senator disclosed that she had spent tens of thousands of shillings to buy her baby daddy, Mugithi musician Samidoh Muchoki, the ideal present.

Karen Nyamu was spotted entering a liquor store and asking for the most expensive bottle of alcohol in a video posted on social media.

"Nimekuja kununulia mbabaz pombe ya father's day. Nataka ile ya dooh mob kabisaa for mbabaz. The most expensive one kabisaa, nataka kubuiya mbabaz."

She decided on a Remy Martin Louis XIII brandy. The alcohol is worth Ksh420,000. She spoke with the clerk for a time before using her credit card to pay.
