Khaligraph Jones was recently interviewed by Waza.co.ke, discussing the contentious petition to ban TikTok in Kenya.

The hefty rapper called it stupid and expressed disgust with the proposal, calling out the government.

"Iyo ni ubomboclat yani manze, saa zingine the government hukua na ubomboclat, I can't have a better term to use. The country is in a state where the level of unemployment is over the roof and the platform that people have found ya kupata pesa ndo mnasema mnataka kublock from Kenya," the EAEA award winner said.

On the other hand, his solution was for the government to devise systems to regulate the content that Kenyan youngsters see online.

"Instead of saying that there's bad content, Kuja useme, that we need to come up with new strategies to regulate the content that our kids see but don't take down the whole thing," the rapper passionately said.

According to the singer, removing the platform may cause friction among individuals who use it for economic purposes.

Bob Ndolo proposed the measure, arguing that TikTok has become an app that promotes sexual content, vulgar language, and violence.

Because of its addictive nature, it has attracted so many users that some have taken advantage of it and abused it by exposing themselves to objectionable content. As a result, all users, regardless of age, can view the information.

Many Kenyans online, like Khaligraph, have reacted negatively to the suggestion, with many desiring a similar compromise to the rapper.
