Byron writes huge gengetone singles such as Sipangwingwi, Usherati, Pesa Ndogo, kwa bar, and peng wa Mafilter.
He has collaborated with Kenyan artists, including Mejja, Ssaru, X-ray, Trio Mio.
Byron Lertrupers was a great singer-songwriter in addition to being a music producer.
His musical genres included Dancehall, Afro-Pop, and Afro-Fusion. His objective was to establish a market for Kenyan music worldwide.
The cause of death has not yet been determined. Kenyans on social media and Kenyan artists, like the Boondocks gang, have expressed their sympathies.
