Kenyans on social media have called on governor sakaja to act after a viral video showed city council workers beating and harassing a disabled woman.

In a video seen by waza, at least four Nairobi city councils are seen roughing up one disabled person, who is seen sprawled on the ground, asking for mercy and berating the cops for their violence.

Another female hawker with a disability is heard constantly questioning one worker why he had to take away her mobile phone.

"Mnipatie simu yangu! Umesema simu yangu ichukuliwe kwa nini wewe? Ni wewe umechukua!" she hisses at an askari.

Beside her, yet another disabled female hawker is seen rolling on the ground, saying "Hatuendi! Hatuendi!"

As the chaos grows, the kanjo's are seen attempting to drag the hawker who had been rolling on the ground earlier despite her screams and groans for assistance.

"No, no, no!" What exactly is this? "Let's show the Governor," a voice from behind the camera is heard saying before the commanding askari exclaims, "Na watu watoke hapa!"

"NAIROBI KANJO MUST HARASS DISABLED FEMALE HAWKERS in the streets. Lazima iWork!" one user lamented.

"The worst nightmare for hawkers in Nairobi is not even the corrupt police officers, but the ruthless Kanjo. Kanjo is more ruthless than the gangs of Kayole." another one commented
