2027 Elections must have 50% Women Governors, 50% women MPs and Senators . This we must work hard to ensure we achieve this representation. Women leaders care and are less corrupt …

The senator proposed legislation requiring male governors to be replaced by female governors at the conclusion of their terms and vice versa.

"How about passing legislation mandating gender rotational leadership?" If a man is elected Governor in 2022, no woman may be elected Governor in 2027!" Ole Kina proposed it.

Ole Kina also chastised Nandi County Governor Stephen Sang for appointing his CECs, which an Eldoret court later annulled.

The senator believes Sang is a prime example of a leader who should be removed from office for flagrantly breaching the law.

"Some governors are clueless and must be corrected!" Constitutional violations are grounds for impeachment! What happened in Nandi County recently? "While appointing CECs, the Governor violated Articles 1, 2, 3, 10, 19, 20, 21, 2, 27, 73, 174, 179, 185, and 196 of the Kenyan Constitution," he added.
