The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has announced that a section of Mombasa Road will be temporarily closed from Thursday, June 13, to Sunday, June 16, 2024.

"A section of Mombasa Road near Katani Road Junction will experience traffic disruption along the Mombasa bound lanes.

KeNHA stated that the relocation will facilitate the construction of the mid-span footbridge foundation.

The Authority, however, asked motorists to follow the instructions, and the exercise was due to be completed on Sunday.

"KeNHA advises motorists to follow the proposed traffic management plan and cooperate with police and traffic marshalls on site," the statement reads in part.
