A family in Burat, Isiolo County, has been left homeless after a fire burned down their house.
Mohammed Noor claimed the fire broke out late at night, leaving the family of twelve stranded without a place to call home.
He estimates the damage to the property could be up to Ksh.6 million. The house was near their hotel and a mobile money transfer service.
According to preliminary investigations, the fire may have started due to a family disagreement.
Noor demanded a comprehensive investigation to determine the source of the incident.
