Raila Odinga, the head of the Azimio, has arrived in Lodwar for the Turkana Cultural Festival.

On Friday, just before noon, the leader of the opposition arrived.

"Touchdown in Lodwar for Tobong'u Lore, the Turkana Cultural Festival," Raila announced on X.

Numerous opposition-aligned local politicians welcomed the former prime minister.

Other prominent Azimio leaders, notably Martha Karua of Narc Kenya, who served as his substitute in the August 2022 presidential election, were with him.

Among others, former Kakamega governor Wycliffe Oparanya, former Defense Chief of Staff Eugene Wamalwa, and George Wajackoyah of the Roots party.
