The names and images of 35 people who are thought to be affiliated with the terrorist organization Al-Shabaab, which has been terrorizing the people of Lamu and Boni, have been made public by the Interior Ministry.
The 35 are related to the planting of explosive devices, the killing of civilians, and the attack on the Manda American military post in 2020, according to Interior CS Kithure Kindiki.
Public members have been asked to offer information regarding their whereabouts for an undisclosed monetary reward.
"Ministry of Interior is going to publish those suspects that we consider to be the chief planners, those ones we consider to bear the great responsibility of financing and orchestrating the violence," Kindiki said.

Most people on the list are Kenyan citizens, with a few foreigners who have been organizing and carrying out attacks on the Kenyan coast.
The names are Maalim Ayman, Ramadhan Kioko, Abdullahi Banati, Andreas Martin Muller, Abu Amar, Suleiman Maktum, Yusuf Anau, a Tanzanian national, Abdiweli Yassin Isse, Idris Dhul Kifir, Silla, Ibrahim Magag, HassaneTijana and Fahad a Bangladeshi national who is also a medic(Bangladesh-Medic).
Jamalo from Tanzania; Sheikh Nganglangalam, a messenger; Janagale Huteiba from Ethiopia; Bashir Mursal Mohamud, Abu Khatal, Maalik Alim Jone from the UK; Abu Said, Abu Anan, Mzee Mashella, Warsame Ali, Mohamed Mwanjama Salim, and Abdikhadir are also wanted.
"We will give notice to those criminals to surrender to the nearest police station, chief's centre. if they don't surrender, we will look for them we will find them and we will do what we must," Kindiki said.

Additionally, according to Prof. Kindiki, a series of strikes in Lamu and the Boni forest enclave were carried out by the accused terrorists.
They are accused of placing IEDs on various earth roads, which led to the killing of civilians along the Lamu-Witu-Garsen route at Lango la Simba, Witu, and Mpeketoni, as well as the attack on the American military post in January 2020, among other incidents.
The government has also identified other members of the Alshabaab terrorist group, including Maalim Said Guyo, Zakaria Karongo, Ramadhan Kafungwa, Abdukadir Mohamed Abdukadir, Abdifatah Abubakar Abdi, and Mohamed Abdi Aiden. Others include the driver Arqawi, the weapons repairer Yunus, the Tanzanian Yakub, the Abdullahi Dere, and Abdinassir.

The administration has now declared that it will use all tools, including enlisting the public, to find and punish the offenders.
Kindiki stated, "We will be pleading with Kenyans for information; we would handsomely reward information that will assist us in catching those deadly criminals.
To win the war against the terrorists not just along the coast but all over the country, the government has asked the wanted terrorists to turn themselves into the nearest police station. The government has promised to either arrest or neutralize the terrorists.
