Kenya Power's prepaid system has been restored, and customers can now purchase electricity tokens.

"We are pleased to inform you that the issue with the prepaid system has been resolved, and customers can now purchase electricity tokens." "We apologise for any inconvenience this has caused," the electricity company said.


The company had earlier apologized to customers for their system being down.

 “We are experiencing a hitch in the prepaid system, which is affecting the generation of electricity tokens. We are working to restore normalcy within the shortest time possible,” it said in a statement then.
