President William Ruto said he is grateful to be Kenya's president when kenya is dealing with the high cost of living and other economic challenges.

During a church service in Dagoretti, Nairobi, Ruto addressed the devout that the country needs a president like him to shepherd it forward.

"I am delighted to be leading Kenya during these trying times." "In such times, the country requires a leader like me," the president remarked.

Kenya "would have sunk" if other people had been in charge of the country during these difficult times, Ruto remarked. 

"Kenya would have sunk if we had other (leaders), but I assure you that Kenya will move forward and change." "We will have a country that we can all be proud of," he promised, urging the assembly to keep praying for the country.
