Three American citizens working with Child Refuge Centre International were killed in a horrific vehicle accident near the Eusonyiro airstrip on the Narok-Maasai Mara Game Reserve Highway.
The three, who had been in Narok West running nine other facilities in the country, were heading from Narok town westward to Mara when they were involved in a head-on collision with a trailer truck.
They were on their way to Naroosura, where they operate community-based health initiatives.

According to a police report from the County Commissioner's office, two of the three were 61 years old, while the third was 33.
The philanthropists' truck was transferred to Narok police station. Still, a portion of the caravan, which had foreign registration plates, remained at the location of the collision at the time of publication.
Meanwhile, the deceased's bodies were taken to a Nairobi hospital.
