President William Ruto has appointed Joshua Kutuny, a former Cherangany Member of Parliament, to chair the Kenya Copyright Board.

Kutuny will hold the role for three years, beginning October 27, 2023.

"In exercise of the powers conferred by section 6 (1) (a) of the Copyright Act. 2001. 1. William Samoei Ruto, President of the Republic of Kenya and Commander-in-Chief of the Defence Forces, appointed— Joshua Kutuny to be the Chairperson of the Kenya Copyright Board, for a period of three (3) years, with effect from the 27th October, 2023," according to a notice in the Gazette dated October 26, 2023
