A Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) candidate on Monday sat for her examinations at the Mother and Child Hospital in Wote Makueni County, supervised by relevant authorities.
This is after she gave birth on the same day she was supposed to sit for her national examinations.
On the other hand, another candidate at Mwingi Primary School in KituI County found herself in the midst of labor pains, prompting an urgent transfer to Mwingi Level IV Hospital where she delivered her baby and continued her examinations, all within the hospital's premises.
Additionally, a 17-year-old girl from Kagondi Primary School in Kitui gave birth at Muthale Mission Hospital on Sunday, October 29.
She went on to sit her Mathematics paper in the same hospital, early Monday morning.
