Police have launched investigations into the death of a 34-year-old man who allegedly killed himself after he disagreed with his father over a vehicle he (his father) gave him temporarily to do business in Kadera Kwoyo location in Migori County.

Confirming the incident, the area Chief Moses Ochare said the body of Jackson Peter was found hanging outside his brother’s house.

Ochare said the deceased left a suicide note at the scene claiming that he opted to take his life because his father reposed the vehicle he gave him temporarily and ordered that the vehicle be given out to his brother.

Additionally, the chief of the deceased also asked his brother to ensure that he takes care of his two children until they finalize their education.

The area chief said the matter is still under investigation, adding that the body has been moved to Rapcom Hospital mortuary pending an autopsy.

Ochare has appealed to the members of the public to use other conflict resolution methods instead of committing suicide for issues that can be handled through talks.
