Education PS Belio Kipsang announced that candidates who took the recently completed Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) and Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) tests will receive their results before Christmas.
He said this Wednesday during a briefing on the three-day national examination exercise, in which he praised all parties involved for achieving a smooth operation.
Kipsang stated that the marking exercise would begin immediately and that all efforts would be made to complete the marking exercise before the deadline.

"Everything went swimmingly. "I'd like to thank our teachers first and foremost for their hard work, as well as our colleagues from the interior, TSC, security teams, and all the other teams who have collaborated with us," he stated.
2.6 million candidates were taking the examinations, and PS Kipsang stated that the ministry will ensure that no one is left behind in the transfer to the next educational level.
Another 1.4 million applicants took the KCPE examinations, while another 1.2 million took the KPSEA exams (Grade 6).
"We had a low number of pregnancies this year, and the empowerment we are providing to our parents is bearing fruit." "We are pleased that we are reducing the threat of adolescent pregnancy," he added after evaluating the isolated incidents during the 2023 assessment cycle.
This year's group was the final to take the KCPE and KCSE, paving the way for the complete implementation of the Competence-Based Curriculum (CBC) in elementary schools, with students now completing KPSEA exams.
