Ten people have died after a matatu and trailer collided at the Ngata stretch on the Nakuru-Eldoret highway on Monday at 3:00 a.m.
The accident involved a 14 seater matatu, which was heading towards the Nakuru, and the truck that was heading towards the Eldoret.
According to a police officer, those injured were rushed to the Nakuru level 6 hospital.
Further, the police officer revealed that the accidents have been rampant on the road.
“It is a very serious accident with a serious impact. We have taken close to one hour to separate the two vehicles. It was a head on collision,” said the officer.
