Kilimani police station officers on Sunday raided a wines and spirits shop located at Kenyatta Market and nabbed 664 cartons of 250 ml bottles of assorted spirits.
According to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), the counterfeit alcohol includes Supa Vodka, Trace, and Crayson spirits.
The shop attendants, Maurice Mugambi and Kevin Muchugu were also apprehended and are now awaiting further action.
On the other hand, Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) officers are undertaking a verification process.
