Public Service Cabinet Secretary (CS) Moses Kuria looked elated after meru governor Kawira Mwangaza survived impeachment for the second time.
Moses Kuria has been a firm supporter of the meru governor and had accused the MCAS of a witch hunt against the governor and had called for the impeachment process to be stopped.
The vocal CS took to his X page, formerly known as Twitter, to air his opinions regarding the ongoing impeachment trial at the Senate.
"Yaani at this age and time a sane person can depend on the affidavit of one Salesio Mutuma Thuranira and hope to impeach a Governor?" he tweeted

After Mwangaza survived the impeachment, Moses Kuria posted on X a motivational quote about God winning the battle.

The meru governor survived the impeachment after a majority of the Senate's 47 members refused to uphold any of the seven allegations against her by Meru's County Assembly, which voted unanimously to remove her from office.
Mwangaza was charged with misappropriating county resources, nepotism, and unethical practices, harassing and vilifying other officials, usurping her statutory responsibilities, contempt of court, naming a public road after her husband illegally, and contempt of the Meru County Assembly.
