According to Kileleshwa MCA Robert Alai, when senators mock, belittle and insult MCAs for presenting case against an incorrigibly corrupt incompetent governor, the devolution is being strangled. Alai went ahead to state that governor Mwangaza is not the only woman governor and that he is just a pathetic character.
According to what Alai has been told, MCA made a mistake in this regard. They took things personally, and the entire executive team was aware of their intentions. It's incredible how one woman has defeated everyone who stands in her way, even two powerful bosses. Recognize her thick skin. Leave the woman alone and allow the MP and MCAs to do their portion.
When Senators mocks, belittles and insults MCAs for presenting case against an incorrigibly corrupt incompetent governor, we are strangling devolution.

Meru Governor Kawira Mwangaza has successfully thwarted a second attempt to oust her from office. A majority of the 47 members of the Senate declined to substantiate any of the seven allegations presented against her by Meru's County Assembly, which had unanimously voted for her removal.
The charges against Governor Mwangaza included misappropriation of county resources, nepotism, unethical conduct, harassment and defamation of other officials, overstepping her statutory duties, contempt of court, unlawfully naming a public road after her husband, and showing contempt towards the Meru County Assembly.
After a comprehensive two-day hearing on the impeachment case, the 47 Senators cast their votes on each of the seven accusations against Governor Mwangaza. On the initial charge of embezzlement of county funds, 19 Senators supported her removal from office, while 28 voted to retain her position.
