A wigmaker from Lagos, Nigeria, has broken the world record for the world's longest handcrafted wig.
Helen Williams spent 11 days and nearly two million nairas (£2,031; $2,493) to create this incredible wig, which measures 351.28 meters (1,152 ft 5 in).
"Helen Williams from Lagos, Nigeria, has achieved a new record for the longest handmade wig, which stretches an incredible 351.28 meters (1,152 ft 5 in)," the Guinness World Record said on its official X account.

Helen finished the hairpiece with 1,000 bundles of hair, 12 cans of hair spray, 35 jars of hair adhesive, and 6,250 hair clips after making the underlay with wig-cap netting and black cloth affixed to a bicycle helmet.
Helen is an eight-year-experienced professional wigmaker. She makes between 50 and 300 wigs per week.
Regardless of her background, making this world-record wig brought its own set of problems.
Finding a spot where the wig could be spread out in a straight line and precisely measured was one of Helen's most challenging obstacles, as none of the sites she investigated, including numerous running tracks, were long enough.
She eventually opted to conduct it alongside the Lagos-Abeokuta Motorway, a large route connecting Lagos and Abeokuta.
The incredible wig now remains in Helen's workplace, where she invites anyone interested to come and examine it "whenever they want to."
