President William Ruto and other international leaders attended the Second Voice of Global South Summit (VOGSS) on Friday.

Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, formally opened the virtual meeting.

The summit's main goaSummito disseminate the crucial conclusions reached at different G20 summits during India's presidency to the Global South.

The difficulties brought about by world events will be covered as well.


India English TV reports that the SummiSummit provides a forum for discussing how to maintain the momentum created by the shared goal of a more progressive, inclusive, and representative global order.

There will be ten sessions in the second VOGSS. Prime Minister Narendra Modi would host the opening and closing sessions at the Head of State or Government level.

"Together, for Everyone's Growth, with Everyone's Trust" is the theme of the first leaders' meeting, and "Global South: Together for One Future" is the theme of the last leaders' meeting.


India hosted the inaugural virtual Voice of the Global South Summit (VOGSS) in January of this year.
