After being struck by helicopter blades in Masalani, Ijara, Garissa County, on Tuesday, the teacher passed away.

The instructor was supervising the current Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations, according to EALA MP Falhada Iman.

When the accident happened, the invigilator had just left the deputy county commissioner's office with the exam papers for the day.

According to Solomon Chesuti, the county commissioner for Garissa, the teacher was in close proximity to the helicopter during its takeoff. Then the propellers struck him.

The most recent occurs only one day after two additional helicopter mishaps in nearby Wajir County. In the first incident, which occurred on Monday at noon, a helicopter carrying Arabajahan MCA Abey Jimaale crashed during takeoff from the Wajir Airport.


According to police, the MCA and two of the pilots were taken to Wajir County Referral Hospital after suffering injuries. There, they received treatment and were then sent to Nairobi for additional care while their conditions remained stable.

The plane sustained significant damage.

A Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) helicopter crashed during takeoff late in the afternoon. In Buna Town, Wajir North, the chopper was delivering food supplies to families affected by the flooding.

Abdia Manya, the coordinator of the Wajir County Red Cross, reported that a number of individuals, including teachers and pilots, suffered injuries and were transported to the Buna Sub- County Hospital.
