The ODM party had initially planned to hold its recruitment drive in Nairobi on Friday, November 24. However, that date has been pushed back.
The ODM party chairman in Nairobi County, George Aladwa, announced the process' postponement to Thursday, December 7, 2023, in a statement to newsrooms on Thursday afternoon.
"Our party leader Raila Odinga will preside over the recruitment drive and the venue will be communicated," he stated.
To improve ODM's reputation ahead of the 2027 elections, Raila declared on November 10 that the party would launch a national recruitment drive.

He said that on November 11, the recruitment would start in Siaya County and move to other counties.
"We will do the same exercise in Homa Bay on Monday and then Migori, Kisii, Nyamira and Kisumu to complete the Nyanza region but the exercise will be launched across the country," Raila said in a video posted on his X platform.
The hiring process is anticipated to end on March 24 following the conclusion of party grassroots elections.
The party announced on November 11 that the decision to conduct the grassroots elections was made at the November meeting of the National Executive Committee.
"This will be a build-up to the much anticipated party and is aimed at rejuvenating and re-energising the party," the statement read.
The ODM National Election Board will undergo a reorganization in February and March before the grassroots elections.
