At least ten people have been killed after a fire ripped through a retail center in Karachi, Pakistan.
Geo News said the fire broke out early in the morning inside the multi-story RJ shopping complex in Pakistan's most populated metropolis.
Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab Siddiqui claimed in a tweet on social media site X that the fire killed 10 persons and injured 22 others.
"The fire has been extinguished, and the cooling process is underway," Siddiqui added in the afternoon.
The cause of the fire was not immediately determined.
