The Kenya Meteorological Department has warned Kenyans to brace themselves for more rain starting Tuesday.
Rainfall is expected to continue over the highlands east and west of the Rift Valley, the Lake Victoria Basin, the Rift Valley, the South-eastern lowlands, and the Coast from December 5 to December 12.
North-eastern and northwestern Kenya are expected to be mostly dry.
Simultaneously, isolated storms and heavy rainfall are expected in parts of the Highlands east and west of the Rift Valley, the Lake Victoria Basin, and the southern lowlands.

Temperatures are expected to reach more than 30 degrees Celsius on average during the day over much of the Coast, North-eastern, and Northwestern Kenya regions.
"Some parts of the Highlands East of the Rift Valley will experience low average night-time (minimum) temperatures of less than 10oC," the Met Department said.
Kisii, Nyamira, Nandi, Kericho, Bomet, Kakamega, Vihiga, Bungoma, Siaya, Kisumu, Homa Bay, Busia, Migori, Narok, Baringo, Nakuru, Trans-Nzoia, Uasin-Gishu, Elgeyo-Marakwet, and West-Pokot counties comprise the Highlands West of the Rift Valley.
Turkana and Samburu counties are located in northwestern Kenya. At the same time, the Highlands East of the Rift Valley include Nyandarua, Laikipia, Nyeri, Kirinyaga, Murang'a, Kiambu, Meru, Embu, Tharaka-Nithi, and Nairobi counties.
North-eastern Kenya includes the counties of Marsabit, Mandera, Wajir, Garissa, and Isiolo, while the south-eastern lowlands have Machakos, Kitui, Makueni, Kajiado, and Taita-Taveta.
At the same time, the Coast region includes the counties of Mombasa, Tana-River, Kilifi, Lamu, and Kwale.
Kenya is dealing with the devastation caused by heavy rains caused by the El Nino weather phenomenon in most parts of the country.
According to government figures released Monday, floods have killed 154 people so far, with tens of thousands more affected.
