Four people died on Monday after a 14-seater Matatu they were traveling in collided with a 60-seater bus in the Hill Tea Area on the Nakuru-Eldoret highway.
According to police, the Matatu had 16 passengers on board during the 5 a.m. accident.
The driver of the matatu as well as three passengers.
Nine other passengers sustained severe injuries and have been admitted to the Eldama Ravine Sub-County Referral Hospital.
The bodies of the deceased were moved to the Eldama Ravine Sub-County Referral Hospital mortuary after the incident.
