Former Foreign Affairs Principal Secretary (PS) Amb Macharia Kamau has been listed Honorary Fellow of the International Science Council (ISC).
ISC with membership from about 140 nations hailed Amb Kamau’s contribution to the promotion of science as a public good.
He was listed alongside Kenyan scholars Prof. Shaukat Abdulrazak and Prof. Vasey Mwaja.
The Council, headquartered in Paris, is set to hold its Governing Board meeting in Nairobi from May 4-8 next year.
ISC works to catalyse and convene scientific expertise, advice and influence on issues of major concern to both science and society.
