A road accident near Kendu Bay Town in Homa Bay County has left one person dead and injured eight others.
According to authorities, the 23-year-old man died while being transported to the hospital after a vehicle containing catering equipment overturned on Thursday morning.
According to Lydia Parteiyie, the police commander for Rachuonyo North Sub County, the lorry was speeding before losing control and veering off the road.
The eight people were taken to the Kendu Bay sub-county hospital.
