One person is nursing serious injuries after the driver of a saloon car lost control and hit a lorry at the Kanyonyo trading center in Machakos County.
According to police, the vehicle was heading towards Matuu's general direction, with the lorry heading in the opposite direction.
"She sustained multiple injuries following the incident which happened early Thursday morning," police said.
Further, the police confirmed that the injured was rushed to Matuu Level Four Hospital for treatment.
"Fortunately, the driver of both vehicles escaped with no injuries. We have launched a probe into the incident."
