The claim suggests that they were blocking the road with the intention of stealing from a truck that ultimately rolled over them.
The Kenya Wildlife Service has not yet taken action in response to these attacks or made any efforts to capture the lion involved. The lifeless bodies remain at the scene, awaiting transport to the mortuary for preservation and autopsy. Identification is pending for the victims, and their families are yet to pick them up for proper burial.
