Fifteen people on Tuesday morning died at the Twin Bridge area along the Nakuru- Eldoret Highway after a 14-seater matatu they were traveling in collided with a bus.
Confirming the 2.45 am incident, Kuresoi North OCPD Judah Gathenge said all passengers in the matatu which was heading to Nairobi, lost their lives.
The deceased include eight adults and seven children among them five girls and two boys.
Seven people were seriously injured with 38 being rushed to hospital with minor injuries.
