Dancehall sensation KRG The Don held his birthday on Wednesday night with a grand celebration held at the Pan Pacific rooftop terrace in Nairobi's upscale GTC Towers.
The flamboyant online personality and dancehall star, now 33, took advantage of the occasion to debut his latest singleāa collaboration with the renowned Jamaican dancehall legend Konshens.
Named a listening-cum-birthday celebration, the evening commenced enthusiastically as esteemed guests began arriving as early as 7 pm.
Seated on luxurious gilded chairs in a venue extravagantly adorned to match the singer's refined taste, attendees enjoyed a selection of alcoholic cocktails, pecorino sandwiches, prosciutto flatbreads, beef bites, stuffed mushrooms, loaded cheese balls, and an abundance of cognac and fine whiskey.
Renowned for his opulent lifestyle and as a showbiz sensation, KRG seized the opportunity to unite some of the wealthiest and most prominent figures in Nairobi's social scene. The guest list ranged from well-known celebrities to politicians, affluent business tycoons, influential content creators, and glamorous Instagram influencers.
Among the array of distinguished names were Lang'ata MP Felix Odiwour, also known as Jalang'o, former Starehe MP and musician Charles Jaguar, Kiambu-road multimillionaire Sam K, philanthropist and politician Samuel Masaki, and beauty guru Phoina Tosha.

The 'Mambo imechemka' singer then took the spotlight to exclusively unveil his latest song 'Time Bomb,' a collaboration with Jamaican star Konshens. The Jamaican artist had spent a significant portion of his recent African tour in Nairobi at the invitation of the Kenyan artist.
'Time Bomb', whose music video was publicly released on Friday morning, is a typical party anthem which sees both dancehall gurus sing about their love for the fine life and even finer women.
Crafted by Jijo Drumbeats, the song features Konshens showcasing his renowned rhyming chants, strategically incorporated to add a lively finishing touch to KRG's studio magic.
The music video is a vibrant display of fluorescent colors and voluptuous women as the two stars take turns delivering impactful individual performances before converging towards the end. Dressed in matching kaftans, they sing lyrics that likely represent multimillion-dollar contracts.
