Police officers are investigating an incident in which a 60-year-old man was discovered dead in a lodging facility in Kericho.
David Kiplangat Ronoh, an elder in a local church, was discovered dead at his residence at Kapsoit Trading Centre.
Belgut sub-county police commander Charles Kibati stated that the dead was with an unnamed young woman.
"He was discovered dead, with no evident injuries. He was naked at the time, according to authorities.
The woman is believed to have reported the incident to the establishment's management before fleeing the scene.

Kapsoit police officers also reported finding a used condom at the scene.
Meanwhile, investigations continue, and a search for the fleeing woman is underway.
The deceased's body has been transferred to the Kericho County Referral Hospital mortuary for autopsy.
