Safaricom has announced that their mobile payment services are down.

In a notification issued on Tuesday morning, the telecommunications network operator stated that it was experiencing regular service interruptions that have impacted some PayBill payments.


“We are experiencing a recurring service intermittency affecting some PayBill payments. The issue is under resolution by our technical team, we shall inform you once normal services resume,” Safaricom said.

“We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused. Thank you for your patience.”
