Raila's die-hard supporter Nuru Okanga against all odds bravely sat for the KCPE exams last year. Mr.  Nuru through his Facebook page shared that he has embarked on the second phase of his quest for a KCSE certificate. Accompanying the announcement was a photo of him in school uniform, carrying a school bag, signaling his readiness to commence his secondary education. Notably, he chose not to reveal the name of the school he has enrolled in.

"God of Okanga has done it again" he stated

Just a few days after his friends pooled resources to purchase pens and exercise books for him at the renowned Kamukunji grounds, where he typically hosts his Bunge La Mwanainchi forums, Okanga disclosed another significant development. In his latest revelation, he expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support he received from Raila Odinga, in response to the release of the 2023 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) results.

During a special interview with NTV in December, Okanga, while keeping his actual exam score of 401 marks under wraps, revealed that Raila Odinga had generously bestowed upon him a considerable sum of money. Alongside the financial support, Raila encouraged him to celebrate the noteworthy academic achievement. While Okanga refrained from specifying the exact amount he received, he conveyed deep appreciation to Raila for playing a pivotal role in both his political journey and aspirations.

"Raila has sent me a lot of money today. He told me to buy a cow and celebrate with my family," Okanga revealed during the interview. The devoted Azimio supporter went on to claim that, despite receiving multiple offers from principals, he intended to enroll at Alliance High School for his secondary education.

While expressing gratitude for Raila's support, Okanga also commended Embakasi East MP Babu Owino for stepping forward to sponsor his high school education. Bursting with enthusiasm, Okanga announced his aspiration to enroll at Alliance High School and conveyed a heartfelt message to the school's community.

"I want to go to Alliance, and I've already gotten a sponsor. Let me just inform those in Alliance that I will be joining them," Okanga affirmed, marking the beginning of an exciting chapter in his academic journey with the backing of prominent political figures.
