Two children from Nyanduma village, Lari, Kiambu County, were burnt beyond recognition after a fire razed down their house.

The mother of the three-year-old boy and one-year-old daughter stated that she had locked them inside their two-roomed house and gone to church, only to be contacted by villagers who wanted assistance putting out the fire.

The family has demanded an investigation into the cause of the fire.

The remains of the deceased were transported to Mukoe Funeral Home as Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) investigators in LARI commenced an investigation into the incident.
