Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) in Nakuru have questioned West Pokot Deputy Governor Robert Komolle and Tiaty Member of Parliament William Kamket regarding claims of inciting violence.

Kamket was questioned for two hours before being released. He will now appear before the criminal investigators in two weeks.

The investigators are still questioning West Pokot DG Komolle.

Charles Kanyuira, the regional director of DCI, called the two to discuss specifics regarding the investigations into banditry attacks in the Rift Valley area.

Nevertheless, this is not MP Kamket's first run-in with the law; earlier this year, the Rift Valley DCI chief summoned him, this time over charges of inciting violence.
