Shadrack Mwiti Muguna, a Meru businessman who had mysteriously disappeared, has been discovered murdered. His lifeless body was located discarded at River Kathita in the Mwiteria area. The grim discovery comes a week after Mwiti was reported missing, and his family positively identified him after being informed about a body found concealed in a sack.
In what seems to be a horrifying homicide, the body exhibited evidence of strangulation marks around the neck, believed to be the cause of death.
As of now, no arrests have been made, but an investigation has been initiated by the police. The local police chief urged the public to come forward with any information that could aid in the ongoing investigation. The deceased's body has been conveyed to the mortuary for preservation and postmortem examination.
