The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) will temporarily close a section of Lang’ata Road on Saturday and Sunday from 6 am to 8 pm for planned maintenance works.
In a notice on Thursday, KeNHA said the closure would affect the city-bound section of the service lane between the T-mall roundabout and the Makadara roundabout.
“The Kenya National Highways Authority KeNHA wishes to notify the public that a section of Langata Road along the service lane (Nyayo Stadium bound lane) between T-Mall Roundabout and Madaraka Roundabout will be closed.”
Further, the Authority has advised motorists to follow the proposed traffic management plan and traffic marshals on site.
Motorists heading towards the Madaraka roundabout from Raila Odinga Way (Mbagathi Way), Mai Mahiu Road, and Lang’ata Road are advised to take the Ole Sangale link or turn at T-mall Roundabout and proceed to the U-turn just after Wilson Airport exit and take the flyover towards Madaraka.
