Police officers have arrested six people suspected of attacking Nairobi county officials in the Kayole, KCC, and South C regions.
Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja said in a statement on X that the accused, Mustafa Abdullahi, Ali Nodi Adan, Kevin Mukuru, Abdi Hassan, Salat Abdi, and Stanley Ojiri, are currently being held at the Central Police Station for further investigation.
He also invited anyone with additional information to come forward and help with the investigations. Sakaja emphasized that the county will not accept unlawful or coordinated attacks on officers.

He dismissed rape charges, claiming they are overblown and false.
The governor strongly condemned the physical assault on officers and indicated that the county government is actively monitoring their rehabilitation.
He added that he contacted the affected police to provide them with support and encouragement. He declared the closure of the South C construction site, which had been linked to the attacks.
He added that the county had revoked approval for the project and was pursuing legal action against the developer.
Several photographs from the attack show at least three county officials with apparent injuries. One of the victims, a lady, had a brutally damaged face with a massive cut on her upper lip, while her colleague, another lady, suffered many lacerations on the back of her head.
Another county employee, a guy, looked to have fractured both of his feet during the incident. Goons who attacked our officers in Kayole, KCC and South C were arrested by the police who are continuing with investigations. So far six have been arrested and detained at the Central Police Station namely:-
